Python OpenCV Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead specializing in Computer Vision with Python Programming, with a focus on image and video processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, significant hands-on experience in computer vision, and a proven track record of leading technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership:

• Lead a team of computer vision engineers and developers.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to team members.
• Drive the design, development and deployment of computer vision algorithms and applications.

2. Project Management:

• Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery within stipulated timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of computer vision solutions.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress effectively.

3. Research and Development:

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in computer vision, image processing, and video processing technologies.
• Conduct research to develop innovative solutions and improve existing methodologies.
• Publish findings in reputed journals and conferences.

4. Software Development:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain Python-based computer vision codebases.
• Implement state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms for image and video analysis.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing and documentation.

5. Image and Video Processing:

• Design and implement algorithms for image enhancement, restoration, and transformation.
• Develop solutions for video analysis, including object tracking, motion detection, and video summarization.
• Optimize processing pipelines for real-time performance.

6. System Architecture:

• Design scalable and efficient architectures for computer vision systems.
• Integrate computer vision modules with other system components and services.

7. Client Interaction:

• Understand client requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Present technical solutions and demonstrate product capabilities to clients.
• Provide post-deployment support and address client queries and issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education:

  B.Tech/ M-Tech in Computer Science.

• Experience:

  8-15 years of total experience with at least 6 years in computer vision and Python programming.

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python and its libraries (e.g., OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong understanding of computer vision concepts (e.g., object detection, image segmentation, feature extraction).
• Extensive experience in image processing (e.g., filtering, edge detection, image transformation).
• Significant experience in video processing (e.g., object tracking, motion analysis, video encoding/decoding).
• Familiarity with machine learning and deep learning frameworks.
• Experience with software development practices (e.g., version control, unit testing, continuous integration).
