Python Engineering Manager

As a Python Engineering Manager at AppGlide, you will be a vital part of our customer's solutions engineering team, collaborating closely with customers to deploy solutions across global customer deployments. Our client offers an industry-leading AIOps platform that provides instant, real-time actionable insights for managing multi-domain network and application infrastructures. By consolidating multiple data sources into a user-friendly platform, IT teams can expedite troubleshooting network issues, minimize downtime, decrease MTTR, and enhance operational efficiency. **Skills:** - Minimum 2 years of experience in managing and hiring engineers in teams with 5-10 reports, with a total of at least 6 years of experience in fast-paced engineering roles. - Proficiency in technologies, programming languages, and frameworks such as Django, Python, React, Postgres, SQL, AWS, GCP, RDS, Docker, and Kubernetes. - Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Information Technology. - Experience in managing high-performance teams comprising both junior and senior talent in dynamic, startup-like environments. - Proficient in planning team roadmaps and setting goals as a product-focused engineering leader. - Ability to prioritize effectively, manage tradeoffs, and drive cross-functional initiatives in collaboration with product, finance, engineering, and other departments to achieve successful business outcomes. - Strong understanding and practical demonstration of the architecture, design, and data flow of supported applications for effective script design. - Skilled in reading, developing, debugging, and maintaining automation scripts and code independently, from simple to advanced levels. **Responsibilities:** - Become an expert in the customer's operational analytics solution for networks, applications, and security workflows. - Play a hands-on role in deploying the product to meet customer specifications. - Collaborate with the engineering team to strategize deployment plans for POCs and oversee their successful execution. - Enhance product features and quality through proposal enhancements and customer feedback reviews.
