Python DevOps Engineer

You will be joining AppGlide, a growth partner for fast-growing software product companies globally. As a Python DevOps Engineer, your primary responsibility will involve collaborating with customers to deploy solutions across global customer deployments. The client you will be working with is an industry-leading AIOps platform focused on delivering instant, real-time actionable insights for managing multi-domain network and application infrastructures. By consolidating data from various sources into a user-friendly platform, IT teams can swiftly troubleshoot network issues, minimize downtime, decrease MTTR, and enhance efficiency. Your skills should include: - 2+ years of experience in Python within a hyper-growth SaaS startup - 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing deployment role - 1+ years of experience in Kubernetes/Docker - Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/Information Technology - Proficiency in YAML syntax for configuration and data serialization - Experience in software configuration using YAML files - Knowledge in using YAML for data serialization and deserialization - Ability to write YAML-based scripts for automation and orchestration tasks - Proficient in Python coding - Exposure to public cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure - Familiarity with designing SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and analysis - Preferred experience in networks such as Data Center, WAN, SD-WAN, Wifi, DNS/DHCP, Load Balancing Your responsibilities will include: - Being a technical expert on the customer's operational analytics solution for networks, applications, and security workflows - Playing a hands-on role in integrating the product to meet customer requirements - Deploying solutions for customers, understanding their data, workflow, and analytics needs - Ensuring customers are adequately equipped to utilize, understand, and self-serve platform capabilities - Collaborating with the sales team and partners for pre-sales activities - Leading the design, development, and execution plans for POC to completion of deployment - Enhancing product features and quality through enhancement proposals and customer feedback At AppGlide, we foster a culture of mutual respect and ownership, emphasizing work-life balance and granting ownership of work streams to employees.
