Python Developer Team Lead

As a Team Lead - Python/Django Developer with 5-8+ years of experience, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a development team in designing, developing, and maintaining web modules and functionalities using Python, Django, and Flask. Your role will involve utilizing intermediary knowledge of ReactJS, Vue 2, and related libraries to guide the team in front-end development. Conducting requirement analysis, providing accurate project estimations, and ensuring adherence to deadlines and coding standards will be essential tasks. You will oversee the development of Python-based APIs, functions, and data processing modules, following design guidelines from senior developers and leads. It will be your duty to manage testing of developed modules to confirm functional readiness, integrate web applications with PostgreSQL databases, third-party APIs, and libraries to deliver end-to-end functionalities, and develop and optimize SQL queries to support application requirements. You will also implement best practices in application development and module implementation, track daily progress, update timesheets, and report status to management while exhibiting expertise in project estimation and contributing to process improvements. To qualify for this position, you should have 5-8+ years of experience in Python and Django development with a strong background in Flask and SQLAlchemy. Proficiency in configuration management processes and hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps will be required. A solid understanding of RDBMS technologies, extensive experience with cloud platforms, and hands-on experience with version control tools and metrics tools are also necessary. Intermediate experience in front-end technologies, knowledge of object-relational mapping, and experience with Docker and Kubernetes will be beneficial. Excellent communication skills, commitment to improving technical practices and awareness, and the ability to maintain periodic reports while ensuring compliance with confidentiality and security policies are essential for this role. You should also be willing to work on-site at various locations in India and globally and act as the primary contact for client-side technical expertise. The work location for this position is in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and the working model is on-site at the office.
