Python Developer Lead

We are looking for a skilled Python Lead with strong experience in FastAPI and AWS services to join our development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying backend services and APIs that power scalable cloud-native applications. Key Responsibilities Design and develop RESTful APIs using FastAPI . Implement cloud-native backend services on AWS (e.g., Lambda, ECS, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB). Write clean, scalable, and testable Python code. Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (e.g., using CloudFormation or Terraform). Integrate third-party APIs and internal services. Conduct code reviews and write unit/integration tests. Monitor and optimize application performance and reliability. Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimation. Required Skills Strong experience in Python 3.x with emphasis on web APIs. Proficient with FastAPI (or Flask/Falcon with willingness to work in FastAPI). Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles. Hands-on experience with AWS services, such as: Lambda , API Gateway , S3 , DynamoDB , RDS , CloudWatch , EC2 , ECS . Experience with Docker and containerized applications. Knowledge of asynchronous programming and async/await patterns. Familiarity with version control systems like Git . Preferred/Bonus Skills Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK). Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodePipeline). Familiarity with serverless architectures . Knowledge of OAuth2/OpenID , JWTs, and API security best practices. Background in testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest).
