Python Developer - Cloud Backup for Linux

What you will be doing:

Application Design and Development:

• Develop, test, and deploy robust and efficient Python applications and scripts.
• Work extensively within Linux environments, demonstrating a strong understanding of OS concepts and file systems.
• Manage and maintain database integrations (e.g., SQLite, MySQL), ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
• Contribute to code documentation and maintain version control using tools like Git/GitHub/GitLab.
  

AI-Driven Development

• Leverage AI tools for code optimisation, automated testing, and workflow improvements.
• Use intelligent systems to enhance debugging, maintainability, and performance.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Drive architectural improvements and promote best practices for secure, efficient, and scalable system-level development.

Collaboration & Technical Leadership

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align architecture with product goals.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve complex issues related to data backup/restore and system performance.
• Provide technical mentorship and contribute to architectural discussions and code reviews.

What we expect from you:

• 3-5 years of professional experience as a Python Developer.
• Expertise in Core Python [Data Structures, OOPs, Data types, File Handling, Exception Handling, Multi-Threading etc]
• Demonstrated expertise in writing clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code.
• Proven experience working with and optimizing relational databases (e.g., SQLite, MySQL).
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems, including command-line tools and file systems
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Perl or Shell scripting.
• Docker and CI/CD
• Experience with NodeJS and the Electron framework

Education:

BE/B.Tech/M.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Electronics, or an equivalent degree from a reputed university.
