Python Developer

You will be a Junior Python Developer with 2-3 years of experience, based in Chennai with a notice period of 15 days. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain Python scripts for automating tasks and supporting internal operations. You will also assist in building Python applications using FastAPI and other web technologies, and contribute to the management and optimization of scripts for efficient data loads. Collaboration with senior developers and cross-functional teams to implement features and services will be a key part of your role. You will participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best coding practices, as well as assist in debugging and troubleshooting application issues. Additionally, you will contribute to testing and validating code to ensure functionality and performance, while documenting development work, processes, and code changes. To succeed in this role, you must have a strong understanding of Python syntax, data structures, and object-oriented programming principles. Familiarity with at least one major Python web framework such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI is essential. Experience working with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server, and/or NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis, is required. You should also have an understanding of RESTful API design and consumption, along with hands-on experience with Git and standard version control workflows. Your analytical and problem-solving skills, along with attention to detail, will be crucial in this role. Good written and verbal communication skills are also important for effective collaboration with the team.
