Python Backend Engineer

As a Java Backend Developer at GlobalLogic, you will work alongside a highly skilled engineering team to design, develop, and maintain large-scale, highly performing, real-time applications with a focus on Java backend systems. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing APIs to expose various functionalities, integrating commercial GenAIAPIs, and writing robust wrapper code to enable seamless invocation of APIs from front-end applications. Additionally, you will drive generative AI proofs of concept for ad creatives by leveraging commercial APIs. Utilize your expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for deploying and managing backend services and AI models, including scalable data storage and management for prompts and generated video outputs. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Java Backend Developer, a strong understanding of API design, development, and integration, particularly with external commercial APIs, and hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services. You should be able to set up and consume commercial APIs from Cloud providers or open source, have experience writing wrapper code for API consumption by front-end applications, and be a self-motivated individual with a high level of accountability and ownership.
