• Build backend services in Python (FastAPI and/or Azure Functions) for onboarding, scan orchestration, and inventory management.
• Deploy and operate on Azure Web App/Function App; secure ingress via API Management (APIM), manage secrets in Key Vault, and implement RBAC with Entra ID. • Model and operate data in Cosmos DB; process events with Event Hub; expose stable, versioned APIs with observability (App Insights/Log Analytics, dashboards, alerts). • Implement CI/CD with Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines, environments, approvals) and Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/Terraform) where applicable. • Enforce secure coding standards, secret rotation, least-privilege access, SLOs, and resilience patterns (retries, backoff, idempotency). Minimum Qualifications • 59 years backend development; 3+ years production Python (FastAPI/asyncio/testing). • Strong Azure PaaS experience: Web App, Function App, Cosmos DB, Event Hub, APIM, Key Vault, Entra ID, App Insights/KQL. • Experience with networking (private endpoints, VNets), API versioning, and performance profiling. • Hands-on with Azure DevOps pipelines and release strategies.
