Job Description

Job Opportunity for Python + AWS Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 5+ years

Mode: Hybrid

Role & responsibilities

Write production-grade Python services and automations applying OOP (abstraction, encapsulation, polymorphism), decorators, generators, testing, and code quality standards.
Design, implement, and operate AWS workloads using EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch.
Build and maintain infrastructure as code with CloudFormation (templates, nested stacks, change sets, drift detection) and deploy via GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Implement observability in Datadog: dashboards, monitors, metrics/logs/traces, SLOs/SLIs and runbooks.
Lead incident management and on-call response with PagerDuty: triage, mitigation, root-cause analysis, and blameless postmortems.
Ensure security-by-default: least-privilege IAM, secrets management, encryption and guardrails.
Collaborate in Agile ceremonies; plan and track work in JIRA; drive continuous improvement and documentation.
Optimize cost and performance; use tagging, budgets, and rightsizing recommendations.
