Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic PYP Math Teacher to join our IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, a passion for inquiry-based learning, and the ability to inspire young learners to develop a love for numbers, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PYP math lessons aligned with IB standards.
• Integrate inquiry-based learning approaches into mathematics teaching.
• Design learning activities that encourage conceptual understanding and real-life application of math.
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with other PYP teachers to plan interdisciplinary units of inquiry.
• Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Use technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
• Participate in PYP training, workshops, and school events.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
• Understanding of the IB PYP framework and philosophy.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Creativity and adaptability in lesson planning.
• Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.

Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s degree (MA) with B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
• 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably in IB/International curriculum schools.
• Female candidates only.
• PYP training/certification will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Cuttack, Orissa: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
