Job Title: Lab Manager Location: Pushpalata D Y Patil Hospital and Research Centre, Ambi Talegaon Department: Laboratory Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: The Lab Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the medical laboratory. This includes supervision of lab personnel, ensuring the accuracy and quality of diagnostic tests, equipment maintenance, inventory control, and adherence to accreditation and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Manage the overall functioning of the laboratory, including testing, reporting, and timely sample processing. Supervise and coordinate work schedules for lab technicians, assistants, and phlebotomists. Ensure high standards of test accuracy, quality assurance, and report turnaround time. Maintain inventory of reagents, consumables, and laboratory equipment; ensure timely procurement. Implement and monitor IQC (Internal Quality Control) and EQAS (External Quality Assurance Schemes) . Oversee calibration, maintenance, and performance checks of laboratory instruments. Ensure full compliance with NABL / hospital quality protocols . Develop, update, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Conduct staff training, competency evaluations, and support skill development. Ensure proper biomedical waste disposal and infection control measures. Coordinate with clinicians and departments to address test-related queries and improve lab-clinical interface. Support audit processes and ensure documentation for inspections and accreditations. Qualifications: M.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology /MBA or related field Minimum 8+ years of experience , with at least 2 - 3 years in a supervisory/managerial role Key Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills In-depth knowledge of clinical laboratory operations and quality standards Proficiency with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills

Job Title: Store Manager Location: Pushpalata D Y Patil Hospital Experience: 6+ years in hospital/medical store management preferred Qualification: Graduate (preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Commerce); MBA or diploma in Materials Management is a plus Job Summary: The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods in the hospital. This role involves inventory control, timely procurement, compliance with regulatory norms, and maintaining supply chain continuity for medical and non-medical items. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily operations of the medical and non-medical inventory Ensure availability of essential stock (consumables, instruments, general supplies) Monitor and maintain minimum stock levels and reorder levels Assist in preparing and managing the store budget, monitor expenditures, and implement cost control measures to reduce wastage and optimize resource use. Coordinate with purchase department for procurement as per indents Supervise goods inward/outward movement, GRN (Goods Receipt Note), and documentation Conduct periodic stock audits and maintain accurate inventory records Ensure compliance with hospital policies, vendor agreements, and expiry control Manage storage conditions, FIFO (First In, First Out), and hygiene Train and supervise store staff, assign duties, and monitor performance Generate daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports Coordinate with finance for vendor payments and documentation Liaise with various departments (pharmacy, OT, ICU, labs, etc.) for timely dispatch of materials Maintain stock in Tally/ERP system and ensure data accuracy Skills Required: Strong knowledge of medical and surgical items Familiarity with storekeeping and logistics software (Tally, ERP, etc.) Good analytical and organizational skills Excellent communication and team management Attention to detail and inventory accuracy Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word)
