Purchase - Pharmacy

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Pharmacy Purchase Assistant Manager/Manager to oversee procurement operations for our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, and execute purchase of medicines, surgical, and consumables in line with hospital requirements.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships; negotiate pricing, credit terms, and contracts.
• Ensure timely availability of stock while minimizing shortages and excess inventory.
• Monitor purchase orders, GRN, billing, and stock reconciliation.
• Implement cost-saving strategies while ensuring quality compliance.
• Coordinate with pharmacy, accounts, and audit teams for smooth operations.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Pharmacy, Healthcare Management, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in pharmacy purchase / hospital procurement.
• MIS -Pharmacy Sales & Purchase, TAT efficiency, inventory control, compliance.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and inventory control skills.
• Knowledge of NABH guidelines and healthcare procurement processes preferred.
