Job description

Prepare shortfall and foresee requirements of materials with the help of the relevant teams.

Ensure optimal inventory management and re-sale of non-moving stocks.

Expedite all commercial procurement's including but not limited to raw materials and packing materials, engineering items, QC lab Chemicals, consumables for the company.

Prepare & maintain ex-works costing for FG. (Finished Goods) before buying and post

Co-ordinate within the factory, with teams from Supply Chain, QC, Stores, Marketing, Accounts etc. to ensure timely delivery and payments of materials of specified quality.

Responsible for vendor development & management, negotiation and preparation of MIS Report. Facilitate vendor meetings with senior management to resolve escalated issues.

Obtain required information from vendors for system registration, qualification documents and vendor audit as required by QA in addition to documentary support for RA team. Collect/provide data on vendor performance and share inputs with the management. Organize vendor audits and maintain and continuously develop a healthy network of vendors.

Collect and collate data on savings, spend, outstanding payments, open requisitions / orders etc. Share collated report with management on a weekly basis.

Expedite end to end activities for renewal ARC / AMC / new rate contract after supervisor's approval.

Assist stakeholders with services post material delivery at location w.r.t. installation / usage / rejection /replacement.

Compile information on new vendors, sources, market, current processes and prices regularly in order to take timely actions in the interest of the company.

Provide inputs based on issues faced in day-to-day operations.
