1. Evaluating Indent specification, application of required material, & justification for requirement, by discussing with vendor, User, Site visiting etc.
2. Getting Offers, preparing techno commercial comparison.
3. Finalizing order timely & in budgeted cost with techno commercial negotiation.
4. Follow up with vendor, user, Account for technical clearance, timely delivery & Payment.
5. Arranging right material at right price & on right time.
6. Work closely with plant/production heads/ stores/logistics and Accounts for final closure of purchase activity
7. Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers
8. Site supervision and co-ordination with different agencies as & when required
