Job Description:
1. Develop and implement purchasing strategies to secure necessary raw materials (like copper, aluminium, insulation, etc.), components, and equipment for cable production. 2. Identify, evaluate, and select vendors based on quality, reliability, and price, then build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with them. 3. Negotiate favourable terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best value for the company. 4. Implement and oversee procedures to ensure that all purchased materials and components meet the company's specific quality standards and industry requirements. 5. Coordinate with inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels, preventing shortages and minimising excess or obsolete stock. 6. Monitor and coordinate the logistics of material and component deliveries, ensuring timely arrival at manufacturing facilities to maintain a smooth production flow. 7. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, such as tariff issues, single-supplier dependencies, and cost fluctuations. 8. Continuously analyse costs, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and ensure expenses remain within approved budgets.

Skills Required: Industry Knowledge, Negotiation Skills, Analytical & Interpersonal Skills to Deal and observe the critical situation, Familiar with Purchase technicalities and Specifications.

Qualification - BE - Electrical/ ITI Electrical
Experience - Minimum 5-7 Years of Procurement in Cable Manufacturing Company Only.
