Purchase Manager (Construction)

Role Overview: As a Purchase Manager in the Construction industry, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to optimize costs and enhance supply chain efficiency. You will be required to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and ethical standards. Collaboration with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with organizational goals will be crucial. Additionally, you will need to conduct market research, manage supplier relationships, monitor inventory levels, and implement inventory management strategies to ensure adequate stock levels. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies for cost optimization and enhancing supply chain efficiency. - Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to ethical and sustainability standards. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with organizational goals. - Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing fluctuations. - Manage supplier relationships, including ongoing performance evaluation, issue resolution, and fostering long-term partnerships. - Monitor inventory levels, analyze demand patterns, and implement inventory management strategies to manage stock levels and avoid shortages or excesses.
