Job Title: Purchase Manager - Building Materials
Location: Ranchi, Jharkhand
Experience: 6-15 years
Salary: Up to 50,000/- per month
Responsibilities:-
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for building materials
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with suppliers
- Evaluate quality and cost-effectiveness of materials and services
- Monitor market trends and adjust procurement strategies accordingly
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project schedules
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand procurement needs
- Maintain records of procurement activities for transparency and auditing purposes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of construction materials and industry trends
