Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, evaluate, and select vendors based on quality, price, and delivery speed.
Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best value.
Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods/services.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse/logistics to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and manage procurement schedules.
Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve issues or delays.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
Conduct regular market research to stay updated on price trends and new suppliers.
Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, costs, and supplier performance.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in procurement or a similar role (industry-specific experience is a plus).
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally).
Knowledge of supply chain and purchasing principles.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
