Purchase Executive

Job Summary:

The Purchase Executive is responsible for procurement of materials, follow-up of purchase orders, coordination of material inwarding, and accurate entry of transactions in ERP software. The role ensures timely availability of materials, cost control, proper documentation, and accurate inventory records to support smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities:Purchase & Procurement:

• Source vendors and obtain quotations as per company requirements.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) after approval.
• Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers.
• Maintain vendor records and evaluate supplier performance.

PO Follow-Up:

• Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery against issued POs.
• Track open and pending POs and update delivery status.
• Coordinate with suppliers for shortages, delays, or changes in delivery schedules.
• Communicate with internal departments regarding material status.

Material Inwarding Coordination:

• Coordinate with stores for receipt of materials.
• Verify inward materials against PO, delivery challan, and invoice.
• Resolve discrepancies in quantity, quality, or documentation.
• Ensure timely preparation of GRN and inward records.

ERP Software Entry & Documentation:

• Enter Purchase Orders, GRNs, material inward, and stock updates in ERP software.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchase and inventory records in ERP.
• Generate purchase, inward, pending PO, and inventory reports.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and audit requirements.

Coordination & Compliance:

• Coordinate with Stores, Quality, Production, and Accounts departments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits with proper documentation.

Pay: ₹13,871.58 - ₹22,000.00 per month
