The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, vendor management, and procurement of materials and components in line with Zebronics quality, cost, and delivery standards. The role requires strong negotiation, analytical, and coordination skills to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
1. Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers/vendors for materials, components, and services.
2. Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
3. Issue purchase orders, follow up on deliveries, and ensure timely supply against requirements.
4. Monitor and maintain optimum inventory levels in coordination with the stores and planning team.
5. Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, and delivery criteria.
6. Coordinate with internal departments (Production, R&D, Quality, Logistics) to align procurement with business needs.
7. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, processes, and statutory requirements.
8. Track market trends, price fluctuations, and alternate sourcing opportunities.
9. Maintain proper documentation of purchase records, supplier agreements, and contracts.
10. Support cost-reduction initiatives without compromising on quality.
