Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities Manage procurement activities for mechanical engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to negotiate prices, improve quality, and increase supply chain efficiency. Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and opportunities for cost savings. Ensure compliance with ASME codes, Oil & Gas industry standards, and company policies during material procurement processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to vendor performance, product availability, or quality concerns. Desired Candidate Profile 3-6 years of experience in mechanical engineering purchasing or a related field (Oil & Gas industry preferred). Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution. Strong understanding of buyer activities such as new vendor development, price negotiation, raw material procurement, pipes/plates/fittings/fasteners/flanges/gaskets/forging/tubing requirements.
