Pulmonologist

As a Pulmonologist, you will utilize your 2 - 15 years of experience to diagnose, treat, and manage patients with diseases and disorders of the lungs and respiratory system. Your expertise in pulmonary conditions such as asthma, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancer, and sleep-related breathing disorders will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care to patients. Your key responsibilities will include examining and evaluating patients with respiratory illnesses, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests like chest X-rays and CT scans, performing procedures such as bronchoscopy and lung biopsies, developing treatment plans in collaboration with specialists, providing consultations to inpatients and outpatients, monitoring and adjusting therapies for chronic conditions, participating in case discussions, educating patients and families on disease management, and maintaining accurate medical records. To excel in this role, you should hold a DM degree in Pulmonary Medicine from an accredited institution, possess Board Certification or be Board Eligible in Pulmonary Medicine (and Critical Care, if applicable), have a valid and unrestricted medical license, completed fellowship training in Pulmonary Medicine, demonstrate strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills, and exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Staying current with advancements in pulmonary medicine through continuous medical education and professional development will be essential. Your attention to detail, communication skills, clinical diagnosis capabilities, patient care approach, and effective decision-making will contribute significantly to your success in this role. This position based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India offers a competitive salary ranging from 1.50L to 7.00L per month.
