Job Description

As a Public Relations Manager in the Consumer Tech sector, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing integrated communication strategies tailored to consumer tech clients. Your responsibilities will include cultivating and managing senior-level client relationships, providing strategic PR counsel to clients, and strengthening brand visibility through showcasing company capabilities, achievements, and expertise. Additionally, you will act as the primary client contact, handle media outreach, and manage any crisis or reputation issues proactively. Staying updated on media, digital, and social media trends will be essential to enhance and optimize PR strategies. You will also be involved in developing new business proposals, participating in pitch presentations, and driving business growth initiatives. Managing budgets, team performance, and resource allocation to ensure high efficiency and client satisfaction will be part of your role. Using data-driven insights to fine-tune communication plans and suggest actionable improvements will also be key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement integrated communication strategies tailored to consumer tech clients. - Cultivate and manage senior-level client relationships. - Provide strategic PR counsel to clients. - Strengthen brand visibility by showcasing company capabilities, achievements, and expertise. - Act as the primary client contact, handling media outreach and managing any crisis or reputation issues proactively. - Stay up to date on media, digital, and social media trends. - Develop new business proposals, participate in pitch presentations, and drive business growth initiatives. - Manage budgets, team performance, and resource allocation. - Use data-driven insights to fine-tune communication plans and suggest actionable improvements. Preferred Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field. - 4-6 years of PR experience, ideally within an agency or in-house consumer tech environment. - Proven expertise in media relations with a track record of successfully driving press coverage and brand reputation. - Experience with corporate communications, image and reputation management, and crisis communication. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel). - Strong leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
