Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Specialist

As a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Specialist at Maersk, you will play a crucial role in driving the function towards successful technical delivery. Maersk, a $30bn organization with a global presence, offers a unique opportunity for you to contribute to the transformation of the company into a global integrator of container logistics. You will be a part of a global IT transformation program that sets the direction of the future business model for this large organization. Your responsibilities will include rolling out and integrating various solutions into Maersk's IT landscape. Working independently and with development teams/stakeholders in various locations, such as Copenhagen and the UK, you will be responsible for managing technical debt, technology trade-offs, and ensuring implementation quality. Collaborating with other Engineering Managers, you will produce design specifications that fulfill business needs and work together to remove impediments and protect the team from organizational bureaucracy. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Cryptography & Directory Services, your tasks will involve continuous service improvement, performing daily service checks, responding to Incidents and Major Incidents promptly, driving automation in certificate and key lifecycle management, and developing high-standard documentation and code in accordance with the current framework. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience working with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Access Management, and Identity in general. Additionally, experience with Venafi or similar Certificate Lifecycle Management suite, Key Management System, Microsoft's Active Directory Certificate Services, Hardware Security Module technology, and system integration using modern technologies like REST API, MS Graph API, and Log Analytics API is preferred. Automation skills are crucial, along with a deep understanding of technology trends, cloud-based document management products, and identity access management solutions and protocols. Your ways of working should reflect your passion for PKI, authentication, authorization, and security related to identity. You should be detail-oriented, highly motivated, and willing to learn and adapt to new technologies. Excellent communication and documentation skills are essential, along with a structured, analytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities. A collaborative and innovative approach, coupled with the ability to lead reviews and inspire fellow technical individuals, will be key to your success in this role.
