Psychologist

As a Psychologist (Counseling) based in Kolkata - Salt Lake, you will be responsible for providing onsite counseling services every alternate Tuesday. With a minimum of 3 years of post-masters counseling experience, you will conduct therapeutic sessions, client assessments, and offer mental health support in a professional and confidential setting. Your key responsibilities will include conducting individual counseling sessions for clients dealing with emotional and psychological issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, and relationship problems. You will perform thorough psychological assessments to tailor treatment plans and utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to promote emotional stability and well-being. Maintaining accurate and confidential client records, monitoring progress, and upholding ethical standards are crucial aspects of this role. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals when necessary is expected to ensure comprehensive client care. The ideal candidate must hold a Masters degree in Psychology and possess strong proficiency in therapeutic techniques, interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop personalized treatment plans. Compassion, empathy, and professionalism are essential traits for handling sensitive client issues, while strong organizational skills are required for maintaining accurate records. In return, you will receive a counseling fee ranging from 2,000 to 3,000 INR per day, based on experience and the number of clients served. Additionally, a travel allowance of 800 INR per visit to cover travel expenses will be provided. The work schedule for this part-time, freelance position involves working every alternate Tuesday in Salt Lake, Kolkata.
