Job Title: Psychiatrist Consultant

Location: Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh

Qualification: MBBS + MD/DNB in Psychiatry

Experience: 0-5 years (Freshers with required qualifications are welcome to apply)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatrist Consultant to join our healthcare team in Varanasi. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality psychiatric care, assess and treat mental health disorders, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to promote holistic patient well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments
• Diagnose and treat various psychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, etc.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including psychotherapy and pharmacological interventions
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to legal, ethical, and institutional standards
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatments
• Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and training programs

Requirements:

• MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution
• MD or DNB in Psychiatry from an MCI-recognized institution
• Valid medical license/registration to practice psychiatry in India
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathetic, patient-centered approach

Preferred:

• Prior clinical experience in a hospital or mental health setting
• Familiarity with EMR systems and telepsychiatry platforms

Employment Type: Full-time/Part-time (negotiable)

Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications
