JOB DESCRIPTION: PRT SCIENCE TEACHER

Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Location: Kasna, Sirsa
Experience: 2–3 Years

Roles & Responsibilities

• Teach Science to primary classes as per CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate, engaging, and activity-based lessons.
• Develop curiosity and basic scientific thinking among students.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and simple experiments for better understanding.
• Assess students’ performance through tests, assignments, and observations.
• Maintain students’ academic records and progress reports.
• Encourage participation in classroom activities and science-related events.
• Maintain classroom discipline and a safe, positive learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school activities.

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate in Science (B.Sc.) or relevant subject.
• D.El.Ed./B.Ed. mandatory.
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience as a PRT Teacher.
• Good command over basic science concepts.
• Ability to handle young learners with patience and creativity.
• Familiarity with smart boards and teaching aids is an advantage.
