Reports to: Principal / Coordinator

Role Overview:

The PRT (English) will be responsible for teaching English to students of primary classes ( III–V). The teacher should create a joyful and engaging learning environment that builds a strong foundation in reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills while fostering creativity and curiosity among young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons in English for primary classes.
• Teach basic grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, creative writing, and communication skills.
• Use interactive methods, storytelling, rhymes, role play, and activities to make learning enjoyable.
• Assess students’ performance through classwork, assignments, and periodic tests.
• Provide individual attention and remedial support to learners as needed.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation.
• Develop students’ confidence in expressing themselves in English.
• Maintain regular communication with parents regarding students’ progress.
• Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and school activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in English / Education or relevant field.
• D.El.Ed / B.El.Ed / B.Ed. with specialization in Primary Education.
• Strong command over English (spoken and written).
• Passion for teaching young learners with patience and creativity.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
