Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for implementing and configuring Secure Web Gateway appliances or any cloud-based solutions. Your role will involve working on Web filtering policies, blocking malicious sites, enforcing access control policies, and inspecting traffic for unwanted usage. Additionally, you will develop, enforce, and update web usage policies as per organizational requirements. Monitoring web traffic and taking action as per guidelines into the SWG solution will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Providing technical support to users experiencing issues related to web access, connectivity, or security events is another crucial part of your role. Strong troubleshooting skills on network layers and protocols will be essential, along with knowledge of packet capture and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark/Fiddler) for troubleshooting. You will collaborate and work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure policies align with them. Investigating web security incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing remediation measures as per requirements will also be part of your responsibilities.
