Description
As a Proto Management (Forging Machining) professional at Hero Motocorp, your primary responsibility will be to develop prototype parts in the Forging and Machining (Transmission parts) category to meet the requirements of new model vehicles and enhance existing models of motorcycles and scooters as per project specifications. This role entails studying drawings, understanding project needs, and collaborating with neutral sources and existing vendors to finalize costs, provide technical support, and ensure quality verification. Your role will involve managing and coordinating parts within the Proto Management team to adhere to project schedules effectively. Your typical day in this role will involve new model Proto parts development, ensuring prototype parts are developed within project timelines, overseeing the complete forging and machining parts development through the Proto route, and arranging inspected parts within the project's scheduled timeframe. To excel in this position, you should hold a B. Tech. degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering and possess expertise in Proto parts development in the Forging & Machining category. Proficiency in MS Office, experience in parts procurement, and knowledge of costing are essential technical skills required for this role. Furthermore, excellent communication skills along with competencies in decision-making, innovation, creativity, planning, organizing, and analytical thinking will be advantageous.
