As a Property Manager at West Coast Self-Storage in Salem, OR, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a thriving self-storage facility. Your exceptional people skills will be key in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the property is maintained to West Coast's Clean & Operational standards. Your main responsibilities will include: - Assessing customers' storage needs in person, over the phone, and through web inquiries - Creating a store plan to meet monthly and annual budget goals - Managing web pricing and discounts - Maintaining the property to cleanliness standards by cleaning vacated units, sweeping, mopping, and changing light bulbs - Managing vendors and capital expenditure projects - Facilitating the auction process - Showing available units and guiding customers through the leasing process - Managing, auditing, and balancing the cash drawer and petty cash - Performing any other duties assigned by leadership To excel in this role, you should possess: - A valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Experience in retail sales, cash management, and customer service - The ability to self-manage and work independently to achieve team and company objectives - Willingness to work weekends and some holidays - Basic computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook) West Coast Self-Storage Group offers a competitive salary of $19 - $19.50/hr. with monthly and quarterly bonus potential, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision insurance, a flexible spending account, employer-sponsored life insurance, paid sick and vacation leave, a 401(k)/Roth with matching funds, annual profit sharing, employee discounts, referral program, on-the-job training, and promotion opportunities.
