Job Description

Role Overview
The Prompt Engineer will design, test, and optimize prompts for AI systems and large language models, ensuring reliable, accurate, and contextually relevant outputs. This role collaborates closely with product, data science, and engineering teams to drive innovation and improve user-AI interactions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement effective AI prompts for use in chatbots, NLP, and generative content applications.Test and refine prompt strategies through experimentation, analysis, and iteration.Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to enhance AI output quality, accuracy, and cost efficiency.Document prompt design guidelines, patterns, and best practices for knowledge sharing.Stay updated on the latest advancements in prompt engineering, LLMs, and AI technologies.Troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement in prompt engineering workflows.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.Proven experience in prompt engineering, NLP, or AI model development.Proficiency in Python and familiarity with relevant machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).Strong analytical, creative, and problem-solving skills for prompt optimization.Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with cross-functional collaboration experience.Understanding of responsible AI practices, bias mitigation, and security in AI deployment.Preferred SkillsExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Prior contribution to open-source AI projects or prompt engineering communities.Knowledge of industry-specific applications for prompt engineering.
