Project Manager- Testing

As a Project Manager - Testing at Birlasoft, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating testing activities to ensure the successful delivery of projects. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to understand business objectives, requirements, and expectations. It will be your responsibility to establish and coach Testing Standards, align testing initiatives with overall business goals, and provide regular updates and reports to senior stakeholders on test strategies, progress, and quality metrics. Your role will involve identifying and analyzing business opportunities in software testing, conducting market research, and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends. You will be required to develop strategies to leverage testing capabilities as a competitive advantage and drive revenue growth. Leading the Testing Center of Excellence (CoE), you will establish the vision, mission, and strategic roadmap of the CoE. You will define and implement testing methodologies, standards, and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency. Fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the Testing CoE will be crucial to your success in this role. Your expertise in automation tools and frameworks will be essential for streamlining test execution and enhancing efficiency. You will evaluate, select, and implement automation tools that align with organizational goals and project requirements. Additionally, you will develop and maintain a robust test data management strategy to ensure accurate and secure test data availability. Overseeing end-to-end test delivery across projects will be a key responsibility, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budget. You will collaborate with project teams to develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases. Monitoring and analyzing test results, identifying trends, and proposing corrective actions to continuously improve quality will be integral to your role. To excel in this position, you should have proven experience as a Senior Test Lead or a similar role, with a focus on managing senior stakeholders and identifying business opportunities in software testing. Experience in end-to-end management of automation projects, in-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, best practices, and industry trends, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills are essential requirements for this role.,
