Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of a large-scale Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) project with a capacity of over 30 MLD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water and wastewater infrastructure projects, with proven expertise in managing multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution:

• Develop detailed project plans including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Oversee all phases of the STP project from design, procurement, construction, commissioning to handover.

• Technical Oversight:

• Coordinate with engineering consultants and contractors to ensure technical specifications and environmental standards are met.
• Review and approve design drawings, process flow diagrams, and equipment specifications.

• Stakeholder Management:

• Liaise with government agencies, local authorities, and community stakeholders.
• Conduct regular progress meetings and provide updates to senior management.

• Budget & Cost Control:

• Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or compliance.

• Risk & Compliance:

• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and statutory requirements.

• Team Leadership:

• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams including civil, mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineers.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure projects, with at least 5 years in STP or water treatment projects.
• Strong understanding of STP technologies (ASP, MBBR, SBR, etc.).
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve conflicts.
• Familiarity with local environmental laws and construction regulations.
