Description
As a Project Planning Engineer at Siemens Energy, your role will be challenging and future-oriented. You will be responsible for coordinating with the factory and vendors for spares of Turbine and BOP Components Execution. Your key responsibilities will include: - Prepare a main time schedule comprising of Engineering, purchasing, quality, and manufacturing activities to ensure on-time delivery of orders by the factory and Turbine components vendors. - Regularly coordinate with customers to provide updates and progress of spare orders during execution. - Monitor all items for engineering, procurement, in-house, and outsourced manufacturing based on the main time schedule for executing the manufacture of turbine and components as per standard lead time. - Monitor activities for all project spare items and follow up with SCM and vendors. - Create and close production orders in SAP. - Track material and project progress through MS Project. - Expedite Spares as per order requirements. - Submit progress reports and attend meetings with customers during the execution of the project. - Issue Purchase requisitions and production orders on SAP. - Plan, sequence, and execute the project with vendors, sub-contractors, and the manufacturing facility. - Coordinate projects for Export and AMC orders (Domestic and International projects). Qualifications required for this role include: - BE Mechanical with 5+ Years of Experience in Steam Turbine Project Business. - PMP Certified candidates will be preferred for this position.
