Role: Project Manager / Project Incharge

Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of projects within time, budget, and quality standards. The role involves leading project teams, managing stakeholders, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering successful outcomes in line with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Coordination

• Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules and work plans for overall project completion as well as yearly plans
• Aligned with project mile stones and organizational goals
• Conduct regular internal meetings with site support functions like Planning & Billing, Stores, F&A, HR, HSE, Survey, Quality etc., and ensure deployment of standard operating procedures.
• Ensure to raise NFAs and other approvals on time and submit to HO for further processing, coordinate across Design, procurement, construction and other support teams.
• Take single point responsibility in delivering project scope including Civil, Electrical, E&M, Instrumentation scope of the project.

Stakeholder & Client Management

• Serve as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams (Planning & Billing, procurement, stores, accounts, HR, Admin, Survey, Quality, Safety, Mechanical, Electrical, E&M, O&M etc.,).
• Ensure necessary approvals from relevant authorities (including Design, QAP, EOT, PV etc.,), certifications of bills and payment receipts
• Attend client meetings and progress reviews.
• Provide updates, reports, and escalation of issues as needed.
• Address delays, design changes, and other issues proactively.

Construction Oversight

• Supervise daily construction operations through DPMs/APMs, site engineers and supervisors.
• Ensure construction work is executed in accordance with design, safety standards, and schedule and ensure to execute within the budget
• Scrutiny of various bills submitted by sub agencies (Civil, pipeline, electrical, E&M, P&M, NMR etc.,) and ensure all submittals as per the standard checklist / guidelines
• Oversee operational issues and ensure timely resolution with support from necessary stakeholders
• Oversee subcontractor performance and resolve any technical issues.
• Track project expenditures and implement control mechanism

Quality Assurance, Safety & Internal Audits

• Oversee quality assurance / Safety procedures and ensure conformance to project specifications.
• Ensure timely inputs to the internal audit team (prior to the audit) for smooth conduct of audit and ensure timely closure of all non-compliances
• Ensure inspections and testing activities, timely compliances

Contract & Procurement Management

• Review, negotiate, and manage contracts with subcontractors, local vendors, and service providers.
• Ensure contractual obligations are met, including handling claims and variations.
• Ensure timely response on correspondence with client / PMC and other stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to Policies / Procedures / compliances and take proactive steps to address the gaps, if any.

Project Handover & Closure

• Manage project completion, commissioning, and handover to client.
• Compile as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and final reports.
• Conduct post-project evaluations and share lessons learned.

Reports & MIS

• Ensure report/MIS submission to client, HO and other stakeholders
• Ensure ERP implementation across the modules
• Any other work entrusted by management from time to time
