1. Technical Project Manager / Delivery Manager

Position summary

Seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager / Delivery Manager to lead delivery of a Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, enterprise search, data, and AI implementation. This role is responsible for delivery governance, technical coordination, schedule, staffing, cost control, release management, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage the integrated delivery plan, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests.
• Coordinate architecture, engineering, AI, security, QA, governance, and UI workstreams.
• Manage communications across client, prime-contractor, subcontractor, and technical teams.
• Coordinate DEV, TEST, UAT, production releases, and acceptance activities.
• Track staffing, labor hours, costs, deliverables, forecasts, and estimates to complete.
• Coordinate environment access, tenant approvals, application consent, and technical decisions.
• Lead delivery reviews, risk meetings, status reporting, and stakeholder updates.
• Coordinate production stabilization, knowledge transfer, operational transition, and project closeout.

Required skills

• Eight or more years managing cloud, data, AI, or enterprise technology delivery
• Azure DevOps, Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent tools
• Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery methods
• Technical program governance, schedule management, and critical-path analysis
• Risk, issue, dependency, decision, and change management
• Resource planning, utilization tracking, and subcontractor coordination
• Budget management, cost burn, forecasting, and estimate-to-complete reporting
• Release planning across DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD
• Working knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Entra ID, document AI, enterprise search, generative AI, React, and DevSecOps
• Ability to interpret architecture, security, testing, deployment, and operational-readiness documentation

Preferred qualifications

• Government or regulated-environment delivery experience
• Experience managing prime-contractor and subcontractor teams
• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe, or comparable certification
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or equivalent cloud certification
