Project Manager

As a Project Manager in the Manufacturing Rollout Team, you will be responsible for managing the implementation of the VTSAP template across multiple business areas. You will coordinate with developers, analysts, stakeholders, and implementation partners to ensure successful project delivery within timelines and budget.

Your responsibilities will include project planning, business case preparation, risk management, stakeholder communication, and monitoring overall project execution. You will also evaluate project outcomes and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Purpose of the Role

The Project Manager, together with the Manufacturing Rollout Manager, will oversee all phases of SAP ECC project implementation, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. The role involves coordinating resources, managing risks, ensuring alignment with business goals, and delivering projects to the highest standards while maintaining effective communication with operational and steering committees.

• Proficient in project management tools and techniques such as Jira, MS Project, Agile, and Scrum.
• Ability to lead ERP/IT implementation project teams of varying sizes.
• 8 to 10 years of experience as a Project Manager with 2-3 full-cycle SAP implementations.
• Experience in setting up project governance and leading steering committee meetings.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with client leadership.
• Experience in managing project financials, commercial aspects, and contractual deliverables.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools - PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Basic knowledge of software engineering, information risk, security standards, and technology solutions.
• Experience working with IT implementation partners.
• Manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional IS teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to travel within India as required.
