Project Lead Engineer- HVDC

As an Electromechanical design engineer at Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC), you will play a crucial role in the primary engineering of HVDC converter stations, installation drawings, and detailed design of yard materials to ensure the safety of end equipment and the HVDC station as a whole. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that engineering development is comprehensive, leading the development of innovative solutions for complex projects, coordinating engineering disciplines across multiple projects, providing technical support for testing and commissioning activities, preparing project documents, acting as a design authority for Electromechanical engineering, and delivering cost-effective quality solutions within budget and schedule while adhering to safety standards. You are expected to have a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical or Mechanical, along with 6-8 years of experience in designing the primary layout of Electrical UHV/EHV substation projects. Proficiency in advanced CAD/CAM/CAE software, strong communication skills, self-driven attitude, adherence to processes and guidelines, and experience in HVDC projects would be advantageous.
