Job Title: Project Executive Location: Coimbatore Department: New Store Opening Reports To: Project Manager Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Site Engineer to oversee and manage the execution of retail construction projects across India. The role demands the ability to manage site activities, ensure project progress, monitor safety protocols, and ensure that projects meet the deadlines and quality standards. You will also be responsible for managing resources, ensuring smooth coordination between teams, and providing technical support on-site. Key Responsibilities: • Site Supervision: Regularly visit and monitor ongoing construction and retail project sites to ensure that project work is progressing as per schedule, maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. • Team Coordination: Coordinate between different teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth operations at all stages of the project. • Progress Monitoring: Oversee day-to-day project activities, ensuring that deadlines are met and any deviations from the plan are promptly addressed. • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including site reports, progress updates, safety logs, and material inventory records. • Compliance Enforcement: Ensure compliance with local regulations, company standards, and best practices in terms of safety, environmental protection, and quality control. • Work Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans that include timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Ensure timely completion of tasks and resolve any delays effectively. • Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate materials, tools, and manpower to meet the project requirements. • Material Quality Assurance: Ensure all materials used at the construction site meet the specifications outlined in the Bill of Quantities (BOQ). Conduct inspections to confirm that materials comply with the required standards. • Plan and Design Review: Review construction drawings, plans, and design specifications to ensure that all aspects of the project are accurate and executable. Confirm that calculations and designs are aligned with project goals. • Quality Assurance: Monitor all site activities to ensure high-quality construction standards are followed and implement corrective actions if necessary. . • Issue Reporting: Document and report any unforeseen problems or delays, and work with the team to provide solutions and alternate approaches. • Client and Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to clients, senior management, and stakeholders on project progress, risks, and potential challenges. • Maintenance Oversight: Oversee the maintenance activities and ensure proper handover of completed areas t Skills & Qualifications: Required: • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. • Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience in the execution of construction projects, particularly in retail or commercial environments. Previous experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) is essential. • Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Max, and MS Excel. Preffered candidates who worked on commercial buildings such as Malls, Stores, convention centers, Shopping complex, Modular kitchen Working Conditions: • Travel: As the role involves overseeing projects across India, frequent travel to various project sites will be required. • Work Hours: Standard work hours, but flexibility is required depending on the project requirements and site conditions. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): • Timely completion of projects without compromising quality or safety. • Zero accidents/incidents at the project site. • Effective coordination and communication with the team, client, and stakeholders. • Adherence to budget and material specifications outlined in the BOQ. • Successful resolution of site-related challenges with minimal delays.
