Project Engineering - SCADA

Role Overview: As an Application Engineer at Hitachi Energy, you will play a crucial role in contributing to Network Control projects both in India and abroad. These projects involve advanced real-time systems for managing operations in modern control centers. Your main responsibilities will include installation, configuration, and verification of Hitachi Energy's Network Control software and third-party software. You will also be involved in preparing/modifying product technical documents, data collection and loads, building displays, generating reports, conducting system testing, providing solutions to technical issues, interfacing with customers and consultants, and ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and verify Hitachi Energy's Network Control software & third-party software. - Prepare/modify product technical documents with project-specific requirements. - Collect, map, cleanse, and load data into Hitachi Energy's ES products. - Build displays and generate reports in Graphical User Interfaces. - Conduct system testing at the factory and on-site, documenting results. - Verify and provide solutions to technical issues reported by customers. - Interface with customers and local consultant team to ensure customer satisfaction. - Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in electrical engineering (EE)/EEE. - 2-4 years of experience on any SCADA, EMS, and DMS product from a reputed vendor. - Basic knowledge of any high-level programming language with experience using debuggers. - In-depth scripting knowledge. - Ability to fetch data by writing complex SQL statements. - Knowledge of Power applications. - Proficiency in both spoken & written English language.
