Project Engineer - Telecommunication System

Role Overview: As a System Engineer at Hitachi Energy, you will be responsible for system engineering during the project execution phase. Your role will involve designing communication networks based on customer specifications and project requirements, integrating existing telecommunication systems, providing technical support throughout all project phases, and ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations. You will play a crucial part in the tendering stage by reading specifications and providing the best technical solutions to customers. Key Responsibilities: - Design communication networks based on customer specifications and project requirements. - Integrate existing telecommunication systems as required. - Provide technical support throughout all project phases. - Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. - Participate in the tendering stage by reading specifications and providing technical solutions to customers. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in BE/BTech or Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering. - 2 to 6 years of experience in SDH, MPLS, DWDM technologies over fiber-optic communication. - Proficiency in designing SDH, MPLS, DWDM Network, and Traffic engineering. - Knowledge of PDH Multiplexers, Telephony Exchanges, IP telephony, LAN/WAN/VoIP, and Industrial Ethernet solutions. - Good understanding of telecommunication technologies like SDH System, Telephony, LAN/WAN/VoIP, MPLS, and DWDM. - Expertise in designing and configuring MPLS-TP/DWDM will be an added advantage. - Experience in Power Utility Sector, Offshore Windfarm, and Railway projects. - Proficiency in both spoken and written English language.
