Role Overview

As a Project Coordinator in the solar / renewable energy division, you will support international renewable energy projects (mainly PV, BESS, possibly wind/hydro) through all phases. Youll coordinate documentation, schedules, stakeholder communication, and assist technical and project management teams to ensure smooth, timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist technical team members on solar PV and energy storage (BESS) project tasks.
  
• Coordinate project documentation using tools like ThinkProject (or equivalents).
  
• Monitor and ensure timely submission of documents for design reviews and approvals beBee.
  
• Manage quality checks on technical documents.
  
• Participate in and help organize status and coordination meetings with clients and internal teams.
  
• Coordinate logistics and scheduling of deliverables.
  
• Track project timelines and report progress.
  
• Assist with basic budgeting and resource tracking.
  
• Support permitting, regulatory compliance and liaison with authorities as needed.
  
• Facilitate communication across internal departments, external contractors, clients and suppliers.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  
• 15 years of relevant experience—ideally in solar PV or battery storage project coordination or consulting engineering.
  
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with project management tools (ThinkProject, MS Project, Primavera, Asana) is a plus beBeeSmartRecruiters.
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of other languages (e.g. French) is desirable.
  
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable multitasking in a dynamic, international team environment.

Nice-to-have / Preferred

• Experience with technical due diligence or lender’s engineering services.
  
• Understanding of solar equipment and grid interconnection processes.
  
• Exposure to broader renewable energy sectors (wind, hydro, hydrogen).
  
• Regulatory familiarity, especially in German or Indian contexts
