Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Project Associate-I to work on the Technical sponsored project of CSMCRI titled “Expert opinion, Pre-feasibility report and Detailed Feasibility of proposed site of 3000 ha Area for M/s Grasim Industries Limited at Akhol village, Khambhat, Dist. Anand for development of Solar Salt Works for the salt production” (Project No. TSP1451)

Essential Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering/Civil Engineering.

• The candidate will be working on Feasibility and Design and layout related Project of Grasim Industries and similar projects of SMC Division which consist of collection and testing of Sea water samples, Brine and Soil samples as per IS standard. The analysis of the tidal behaviour from data analysis and assessment of the rainwater and flood effect and management of rainwater in proposed site of solar salt works. Assessment of quality and yield of salt likely to be produced in the area based on the prevailing weather condition Preference given to having knowledge of AutoCAD and related designing and modelling software and experience on field Data collection.

Monthly Emoluments:

Age: 35 Years as on date of Walk in-Interview (Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR Rules)

Duration: The Project Associate-I will work at CSMCRI, Bhavnagar for 7 months from the date of the appointment or 31/03/2026 whichever is earlier. This post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The engagement of a project staff in different projects either in the CSIR - Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhavnagar or different Lab./Instt. of CSIR taken together shall not exceed 6 years in any case. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming extension or absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar.
