Role Overview: As an OpenEdge CHUI Developer at Elevate Financial Tech Solutions, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing an international mutual funds record-keeping system. Your primary responsibilities will involve collaborating with Business Analysts, troubleshooting technical challenges, and developing innovative solutions to enhance workflow efficiency for global clients. Key Responsibilities: - Develop & Enhance: Collaborate with Business Analysts to improve and extend ABIS systems. - Troubleshoot & Solve: Swiftly resolve software issues to ensure seamless operations day or night. - Collaborate & Execute: Work on Business-sponsored and IT-sponsored projects, delivering timely and effective solutions. - Train & Document: Provide support to global ABIS users through clear training materials and documentation. - Innovate & Optimize: Enhance processes for efficiency, ensuring smooth functionality for end users. Qualifications Required: - Education: Degree in IT or Finance. - Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with OpenEdge, Unix/Linux, and Relational Databases. - Tech Stack Bonus: Familiarity with ksh93, bash, Java, C, Progress Web development is a plus. - Strong Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English skills to engage with global stakeholders. - Problem-Solving Mindset: Critical thinking, analytical approach, and troubleshooting skills. - Customer-Centric Approach: Ability to train, support, and collaborate with users worldwide. - Project Management: Ability to oversee IT initiatives and coordinate with global technical teams.
