Role & responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to inbound calls and faxes, identifying customer needs.
  • Conduct outbound insurance verification calls and document results accurately.
  • Process patient applications and manage follow-ups per program specifications.
  • Handle and escalate calls as needed while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
  • Coordinate prescription orders with specialty pharmacies based on urgency.
  • Educate patients about available insurance and assistance options.
  • Strictly adhere to program SOPs and compliance standards (including HIPAA).

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience:

    Minimum 2 years in a customer-facing or US healthcare voice process role.
  • Education:

    Bachelors or Masters degree from a recognized college/university.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
