Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor-Physiotherapy

Chitkara University invites applications from qualified and dedicated professionals for faculty positions in the Department of Physiotherapy. The candidates should possess strong academic credentials, teaching experience, and research aptitude in their respective specializations.

1. Professor

Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Associate Professor or 13 years of total teaching experience in Physiotherapy.
• Ph.D. in Physiotherapy is mandatory.
• Demonstrated record of research publications in reputed journals and evidence of academic leadership.

2. Associate Professor

Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Assistant Professor, including 2 years as Senior Assistant Professor.
• Ph.D. Pursuing/Ph.D. in Physiotherapy is mandatory.
• Proven teaching, research, and mentorship experience.

3. Assistant Professor / Senior Assistant Professor:

Eligibility Criteria:

• Assistant Professor (Entry Level): Fresh MPT graduates with strong academic background.
• Senior Assistant Professor: Minimum 3 years of teaching experience as Assistant Professor.
• Ph.D. Pursuing in Physiotherapy is mandatory.

Specializations Required:

Candidates should hold an MPT in one or more of the following specializations:

• Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy
• Sports Physiotherapy
• Neurology
• Obstetrics and Gynaecology
• Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR)
• Orthopaedics

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Supervise student research and clinical training.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental activities.
• Undertake high-quality research and publish in indexed journals.
• Participate in university events, conferences, and professional development initiatives.
