Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate medical students in the field of general surgery.
• Supervise clinical training, surgical procedures, and hands-on practice in the associated hospital.
• Develop and maintain an up-to-date curriculum aligned with the latest surgical techniques and advancements.
• Guide students in research projects, dissertations, and clinical case discussions.
• Participate in patient care, surgical rounds, and consultations, ensuring high standards of medical practice.
• Conduct research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the academic growth of the department.
• Provide leadership to junior faculty, residents, and surgical trainees.
• Collaborate with other medical departments for interdisciplinary learning and research.
• Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications:

• MS in General Surgery from a recognized institution.
• At least 8-10 years of teaching and clinical experience at a reputable medical institution.
• Proven record of research with publications in respected medical journals.
• Expertise in a wide range of general surgical procedures.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to foster a collaborative academic environment.
• Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI).
