Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Backup Tools Specialist with experience in IT services and enterprise backup tools. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage and resolve customer challenges effectively. Key Responsibilities Backup Environment Management: Design, implement, and configure new backup environments using Commvault or other backup tools. Upgrade backup systems from older versions to newer versions. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to backup tools. Customer Interaction: Handle customer queries professionally with excellent communication skills Build strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and successful project delivery. Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role within IT services, primarily working on backup tools. Proficiency in enterprise backup tools with Commvault expertise (mandatory). L1/L2 level knowledge in: Designing, implementing, configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting backup environments. Red Hat Linux and Windows Server operating systems. Virtualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure products (servers, storage, networking, tape libraries). Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written). Proven ability to handle customers effectively with professionalism. Preferred Skills Certifications in Commvault or related backup tools. Soft Skills Strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions. Work Environment This role may involve occasional travel to client sites and extended working hours during critical project phases. Flexibility is essential.
